flower power

I feel like this year has been wedding after wedding.. But I'm not complaining! They're so beautiful and fun to be at. Congratulations to Jenny & Matt for tying the knot!

I wore this outfit to their wedding today, after driving through an hour and 40 minutes of traffic. Don't mind the random hair in my face-- it was a bit windy!

obey

Soo my little sister sucks at updating-- that's a well established fact. Being the nice sister I am, I updated for her. :) Haha.

mob scene

Wow, I majorly suck at updating the style blog compared to my food blog. Sorry! It's just difficult since this one requires another person to photograph me instead of just me photographing my food. I wore this outfit out to dinner and to a friend's birthday get together. My night consisted of cake, cookies, and s'mores... how can you top that?

These are my most favorite pair of pumps that I own. Comfortable and fierce, just how I like it.

still stuck in b&w

This was one of the outfits that I wore to dinner on the cruise. Basically, I'm still stuck in black and white and skirts/dresses with pockets. Excuse the terrible hair, I was too lazy to do anything with it the entire cruise.

we're back!

So sorry for the lack of posts! We've been away on a family vacation for the past week. I gotta say, cruises are just not my cup of tea. Coming back to this ridiculous weather, though, makes me want to be back on a boat with the pleasant breeze.

I think this romper has been my best find on etsy so far. The detail, fit, construction, and color is just perfect. Click on the link below to get to the store.

back to basics

Weather has been scorchingggg lately. Whenever I'm struggling with what to wear, I always turn to black and white. You can never go wrong with the basics!

P.S. My sister sucks at updating.

a night out

My bf and I went out to a cutesy place called J Lounge to celebrate a friend's birthday. They had a strict dress code, so it was an excuse for me to dress up. My favorite! Can I just tell you that Nine West makes the most comfortable shoes? After dancing the night away, my feet are blister-less and scar-less the next morning (might I add that this is the first time I wore these shoes? No breaking in necessary! Score!).

hooked on gladiators.

sometimes, you have weeks where you never want to take a particular item off. right now, it's my gladiator sandals. i rarely got the chance to wear them over fall/winter, so they've been stuck on my feet as of late. it even helps because they're super comfortable!

early grad present to myself

I went a little purse crazy last week in celebration of me graduating this weekend... but I couldn't help it. Say hello to the latest addition in my family: the Chanel Medallion Tote in caviar leather with gold hardware! It's every bit as beautiful as I imagined it to be (but then again, almost every Chanel is to me). I just think of it as my early graduation present to myself. :] Now, the only Chanel that's left on my "to-die-for" list is the Cerf tote with silver hardware...

guilty pleasure.

excuse my lack of posting, but i've been hating the weather lately and haven't really bothered to get dressed. also i've been busy with work. i got the job at metropark!

whenever i wear this purple hoodie, it reminds me of the cobra starship album cover & the ridiculous number of scene girls who bought it just to dress like gabe saporta. i just like the color & the fact that american apparel hoodies are so comfortable. i'll admit i have 4 of these sweatshirts in different colors.

also, i finally got new extensionsss; i missed having long hair :]

wearing: f21 dress/necklace, DIY thigh-highs, volcom sandals, american apparel purple hoodie & disney store troy bolton thermosss! haha

missing the sun

Goodness! After reviewing these pictures, I noticed just how much I miss the sun. Excuse my pasty whiteness, I'm still waiting for the sun to come out and play for the summer. As for the cowboy boots, I know they're so "last summer," but these are just too darn comfortable to let go of. They're staying in my closet forever.

dealing with the weird weather

Scarves are always great for versatile and unpredictable weather. Today went from sunny to rainy, all in a matter of minutes. When it got too hot, I just pulled off my jacket and hung the scarf once around my neck (as shown). When the temperature dropped a bit, on went the jacket and the scarf wrapped all the way around my neck. That way, you're prepared for anything!

PS. I think my feet totally shrunk as these shoes are quite loose on me now. What the heck, I'm such a grandma... I'm already beginning to shrink.
